1. Australian consumer law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the australian consumer law (acl).
Where a customer is entitled to a remedy under the acl, nexon prime auto parts will comply with its legal obligations.
2. Change of mind returns
Nexon prime auto parts does not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits for:
- Change of mind.
- Incorrect purchases.
- Parts no longer required.
- Ordering the wrong part.
- Parts purchased without confirming compatibility.
- Lower prices found elsewhere.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all parts purchased are suitable for their intended application before installation.
3. Engine warranty
All new, reconditioned, and used engines supplied by nexon prime auto parts are sold with a 3-month parts warranty from the invoice date.
Warranty coverage
The warranty covers replacement of the defective engine or defective component only, at the sole discretion of nexon prime auto parts.
Warranty exclusions
Under no circumstances will nexon prime auto parts be responsible for:
- Labour costs.
- Removal costs.
- Reinstallation costs.
- Freight charges.
- Return freight charges.
- Towing expenses.
- Diagnostic charges.
- Vehicle hire costs.
- Loss of income.
- Loss of business.
- Oil, coolant, filters, gaskets, seals, belts, spark plugs, or consumable items.
- Additional parts fitted during installation.
- Consequential or incidental damages of any kind.
All costs associated with installation, removal, transportation, diagnosis, and repairs remain the sole responsibility of the customer.
4. Engine product disclosure
All new and reconditioned engines supplied by nexon prime auto parts are aftermarket products and/or rebuilt using aftermarket replacement components.
Unless specifically stated in writing on the invoice, these engines and components are not genuine oem (original equipment manufacturer) parts and are not original factory-supplied assemblies.
Customers acknowledge and accept that aftermarket and reconditioned engines may differ from original factory specifications, appearance, or component brands.
5. Warranty conditions
Warranty claims will only be considered where:
- The engine has been professionally installed by a qualified mechanic.
- Correct servicing procedures have been followed.
- Cooling, lubrication, and fuel systems have been checked before installation.
- All required oils, filters, gaskets, seals, timing components, and fluids have been replaced where necessary.
- The engine has not been modified, abused, raced, overheated, or neglected.
Nexon prime auto parts reserves the right to inspect any engine prior to approving a warranty claim.
6. Warranty void
Warranty becomes immediately void if:
- The engine is dismantled without prior approval.
- The engine is modified or tuned.
- The engine is used for racing or motorsport activities.
- Damage results from overheating.
- Damage results from lack of lubrication.
- Incorrect installation procedures are followed.
- Foreign objects enter the engine.
- Damage is caused by failure of another vehicle component.
- The vehicle continues to be operated after a fault becomes apparent.
7. Electrical components
No warranty applies to installed electrical components including but not limited to:
- Ecus
- Sensors
- Alternators
- Starter motors
- Ignition modules
- Wiring harnesses
- Electronic control units
Electrical components may only be considered for return if proven faulty before installation.
8. Engine oil policy
Customers are solely responsible for selecting the correct:
- Oil grade
- Oil viscosity
- Product specification
- Manufacturer approval
- Intended application
Nexon prime auto parts does not provide any express warranty regarding the suitability of engine oils selected by the customer.
No warranty claim will be accepted for:
- Incorrect oil selection.
- Incorrect viscosity or specification.
- Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations.
- Damage allegedly resulting from customer-selected oil products.
Customers should consult their vehicle manufacturer’s handbook or a qualified mechanic before purchasing any oil product.
9. Used parts
Used parts are sold in second-hand condition and may show signs of wear consistent with age, mileage, and previous use.
Cosmetic marks, scratches, stains, and normal wear do not constitute defects.
10. Warranty claim procedure
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact nexon prime auto parts immediately.
- Provide the original invoice.
- Provide photographs and details of the issue.
- Return the part or engine for inspection if requested.
No claim will be processed until the goods have been inspected by nexon prime auto parts.
The customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning goods for inspection.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, nexon prime auto parts’ liability is limited to:
- Repair of the goods;
- Replacement of the goods; or
- Refund of the purchase price,
As required under the australian consumer law.
Nexon prime auto parts accepts no liability for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses.
Important notice
All labour, freight, return freight, towing, diagnostic, removal, reinstallation, oil, coolant and related costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Warranty covers replacement parts only.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Australian consumer law notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the australian consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
